11/21/11

Yesterday, we had our annual harvest lunch at church.  I love to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ.  It is funny how we get so wrapped up in church services and doing things that a Christian is "supposed" to do that we forget about how important it is to fellowship with one another.  We have several opportunities to do this during this holiday season at our church.  We started yesterday with lunch.  On December 4, our ladies group will go eat and go on the Parade of Homes tour.  The following Sunday night we wil have communion and foot-washing.  The Wednesday night before Christmas we will gather together with food.  Then we will go carolling around the community and come back for hot chocolate, wassail (no alcohol or course), and snacks.  My prayer is as we move into the future doing God's work at Folsom we will always remember the importance of fellowshipping with one another.  Have a blessed day.
